Samhain Blessings: Agus Tha Gaol Agam Ort (& I love you.~translated from Gaelic)

Love is fair without favorites.

Love is just, it knows no bounds, it feels no burdens.

Humanity is defined by its duality,
It is lost to the extremes of beauty and ugliness.
May it know its responsibilities in Love,
May it find its peace,
May Eternal and loving Eyes..
Guide and Light its way forward
Unto the awakening of dawn,
May you honor these Truths this time of the year,
May You reflect on the inevitability of change,
May you seek and accept transformation and not escape,
May you find the seeds of renewal and birth,
May You respect and learn from the endless
May you evolve in the wisdom of the old
& May you accept the responsibility
That comes with it all, this time of the Year.

I wish You all a Happy and Safe Celebration.

Just a few words of concern & caution,
.. a sincere and kind reminder from the Heart.
P.S ~It's about to get a little wet and windy around here;)

~ Up from the sea, in a lonely hollow ~
~ She rose upon a patch of grass ~

Green and Free, in a land enslaved by debt,
Her Spirit dances in ecstasy,
As it gathers and piles up in Strength
Fierce against the oppressor,
who rules and robs these kindred Souls
An island of Hope a-midst an ocean of sorrows
On a day I can never forget, I will it so...
A seeker of Truth, I gather and live in All worlds.
Receding and nearing,
The sea lay below me
Receding and nearing,
white, blue and red.
With healing in its hurting
Joy with its breadth held
Swelling and breaking.
I lay thinking of the colors around me,
Her colors that greet my will
As I lay thinking of the colors of Eternity
The colors that forever flood this blissful Heart.

Nothing is Done Without effort ~)
You are purged in Light & Truth.....

“Yea, she hath passed hereby, and blessed the sheaves,

And the great garths, and stacks, and quiet farms,
And all the tawny, and the crimson leaves.
Yea, she hath passed with poppies in her arms,
Under the star of dusk, through stealing mist,
And blessed the earth, and gone, while no man wist.

With slow, reluctant feet, and weary eyes,
And eye-lids heavy with the coming sleep,
With small breasts lifted up in stress of sighs,
She passed, as shadows pass, among the sheep;
While the earth dreamed, and only I was ware
Of that faint fragrance blown from her soft hair.

The land lay steeped in peace of silent dreams;
There was no sound amid the sacred boughs.
Nor any mournful music in her streams:
Only I saw the shadow on her brows,
Only I knew her for the yearly slain,
And wept, and weep until she come again.”

Blessings & Best Regards to You All,
This time of the Year.
My Heart is in You.

A New Beginning: May You Come as a Blessing In All of Life's Passing Seasons

       Blessed be the longing that brought you here

Remembering John O'Donohue
And that quickens your Soul with wonder
May a secret providence
guide your thought and shelter your feelings
May your Soul be as free as the ever-new waves of the sea.
May you succumb to the danger of growth.
May you live in the neighbourhood of wonder.
May you belong to Love
with the wildness of dance.
May you always know that you are ever-embraced
in the kind circle of God.

In out-of-the-way places of the heart,
Where your thoughts never think to wander,
This beginning has been quietly forming,
Waiting until you were ready to emerge.

For a long time it has watched your desire,
Feeling the emptiness growing inside you,
Noticing how you willed yourself on,
Still unable to leave what you had outgrown.

It watched you play with the seduction of safety
And the gray promises that sameness whispered,
Heard the waves of turmoil rise and relent,
Wondered would you always live like this.

Then the delight, when your courage kindled,
And out you stepped onto new ground,
Your eyes young again with energy and dream,
A path of plenitude opening before you.

Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening;
Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life's desire.

Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your Soul senses the world that awaits you.

If we ignore the Soul, we will never be able to impress ourselves

My Dad often sends me these personal messages and words of advice. This is an insightful reminder I received from Him earlier today. I thought that a lot of people I meet and some of my young and close friends in particular might benefit from such sage, noble and humbling advice.

           ' If we ignore the Soul, focus only on materialistic goals and build our lives on the foundation of this “transactional faith”, we will never be able to impress ourselves or the world for long. We can never ever enjoy permanent peace, happiness or contentment. God is impressed with us only when we live with a constant awareness of the true purpose of our lives. There is an enlightening story that illustrates this.  Once, a billionaire who had spent most of his life accomplishing worldly goals, died and his soul stood before God, God looked at him and asked, “My dear child, you have been away for many years.  How have you spent your life? What have you done to impress Me?  The billionaire proudly said, “God, I impressed thousands of people and became very famous.” God asked, “Where is your fame now?” The rich man replied,”Sorry God, I lived it and left it behind.” God asked, “What happened to your property and wealth?”.  The billionaire said, “Now that you ask me, I could n’t bring them either.  My once handsome body is also burnt to ashes.” God smiled and said, “The only thing that you can bring back here is the love engraved on your Soul. I sent you to Earth with a huge treasury of love. What did you do to bring out this love? How many tears did you wipe and how many hearts did you heal? How many people did you share your wealth with? The billionaire sadly said, “I was so busy with my own work that I had very little time for anything else.  Now I have nothing to offer you.”

    If we spend all our time in fulfilling our own personal needs and ambitions, we forget the very purpose of life.  Our Soul remains like a blank CD with no impressions on it.  What is impressed on the Soul is what we express outside.  The deeper the impression, the more Divine is the expression.  As we meditate every day, we create an impression  of Selfless Love on our Soul and waves of joy and contentment flow from us to envelop us as well as the world.  A sense of faith and belief based on a deep trust in our Self is ignited in us.  Then we will never waste time trying to impress anybody.  We will simply shower them with Unconditional Love and the way we look at life will change drastically.

The source of Love is an endless fountain waiting to be discovered and resurrected deep within our Souls and we can only begin to help others realize a lot of  the happiness, bliss and joy that springs from this Loving Spirit if we start and devotedly stay grounded to the Truth that is within.  '

Love & Regards.

P.S ~ I Can Never Thank & Love My Dad Enough ! I am barely beginning to look like I have a fraction of His Courage, Kindness, Generosity, Morals, Tolerance, Wisdom, Bravery, Faith, Discipline, Patience, Intuition and Tireless Strength. Taking on the semblance of Your Strong Impressions, Your Character and Guidance has been both my necessity and good fortune in this day, place and age.....I am still exploring and engaging my talents and blessings but I have had to learn and accept that Truth and Purpose, Kindness, Love, and Wisdom they all well and truly surpass anything and everything else that this World and Life has to offer.

The Promise of A Triumphant Spring…..

The Promise of A Triumphant Spring…..

In order to respond, one should become like a mirror. A mirror just reflects; it is never touched or tainted by the images

Every Spring bursts forth
with delightful songs of renewal,
Armed With Love and Life
for the passions of its Beloved,
May She come with the song of our glory,
To Wax that expansive Green Heart’s bright Horizon
And Our One and only Omniscient Forest’s joy,

For Trees on the mountains
though blasted and cold,
And the rocks in the desert
send out whispers untold…..

A cry this Mother hears..
Her spirit so free and ever caring,
Attentive and aroused
by strong passions and desirous longings,

She stumbles upon this call,
Seeking in her many yearnings..
To reply to the gentle Voices of Hibernia,

This My Dear Friend, is thus the Tale of True Triumph and Harmony,
An old lore armed with potent Nectar,
The Bliss of True Love
born in the deepest of Flowers
A Miracle that makes the Oceans roll
and the Mountains rise from the bottom less depths…..

A Cycle that Dispels our deepest desolations
With its Endless and Ineffable Truth.
A Truth that stills Hearts that are the Bravest
And bless All among the best of  Nations,

Shall Glory and life abound
In this the Song of songs.
For it keeps a record of those, the True at Heart,
It keeps its  Vows Strong, Nurtured and Nourished

Entwine in the resonance of this joyful song
Relish in the many Melodies of this Spirit’s Freedom,
A pause can’t keep Her from Breathing
No stones in Her path can keep her from Singing
For She is led by the Reverberations,
A Kind Look,
and the Divinity that reaches down and touches her Heart.....

I Wish You All
Blessings of Awakening, Renewal and Love

Heartfelt Regards,
Jai Krishna Ponnappan :)

Respect is What We Owe and Love, What We Give

When Erin First Rose

God made a wonderful mother,A mother who never grows old;He made her smile of the sunshine,And He moulded her heart of pure gold;In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,In her cheeks the fair roses you see;God made a wonderful mother,And He gave that dear mother to me.

When Erin first rose from the dark-swelling flood,
God bless'd the green island, He saw it was good.
The Emerald of Europe, it sparkled, it shone,
In the ring of this world the most precious stone!

In her sun, in her soil, in her station, thrice blest,
With back turn'd to Britain, her face to the West,
Erin stands proudly insular, on her steep shore,
And strikes her high harp to the ocean's deep roar.

But when its soft tones seem to mourn and to weep,
The dark chain of silence is cast o'er the deep;
At the thought of the past, tears gush from her eyes,
And the pulse of the heart makes her white bosom rise.

"O, sons of green Erin! lament o'er the time
When religion was--war, and our country--a crime;
When man, in God's image, inverted his plan,
And moulded their God in the image of man.

"When the int'rest of state wrought the general woe;
The stranger--a friend, and the native--a foe;
While the mother rejoic'd o'er her children distress'd,
And clasp'd the invader more close to her breast.

"When with pale for the body, and pale for the soul,
Church and state join'd in compact to conquer the whole;
And while Shannon ran red with Milesian blood,
Ey'd each other askance, and pronounc'd it was good!

"By the groans that ascend from your forefathers' grave,
For their country thus left to the brute and the slave,
Drive the Demon of Bigotry home to his den,
And where Britain made brutes, now let Erin make men!

"Let my sons, like the leaves of their shamrock, unite,
A partition of sects from one footstalk of right;
Give each his full share of this earth, and yon sky,
Nor fatten the slave, where the serpent would die!

"Alas, for poor Erin! that some still are seen,
Who would dye the grass red, in their hatred to green!
Yet, oh! when you're up, and they down, let them live,
Then, yield them that mercy which they did not give.

"Arm of Erin! prove strong, but be gentle as brave,
And, uplifted to strike, still be ready to save;
Nor one feeling of vengeance presume to defile
The cause, or the men, of the Emerald Isle.

"The cause it is good, and the men they are true;
And the green shall outlive both the orange and blue;
And the daughters of Erin in her triumph shall share,
With their full-swelling chest, and their fair-flowing hair.

"Their bosoms heave high for the worthy and brave,
But no coward shall rest on that soft swelling wave;
Men of Erin! awake, and make haste to be blest!
Rise, arch of the ocean! rise, queen of the West!

"It is the cultivation of this art that unfetters the body, strengthens it and makes it upright; it is it that gives a becoming deportment and an easy carriage, activity and agility, grace and dignity;- it is it that opportunely awes petulance, softens and polishes savageness and rudeness, and animates a proper confidence; it is it which in teaching us to conquer ourselves, that we may be able to conquer others, imprints respect, and gives true valour, good nature and politeness; in fine, which makes a man fit for society:"

                       A very Happy Valentines day to you all. This is a comment in response to a very interesting and enlightening post by our friend and admired author Dennis Lewis on facebook,

"Self-knowledge and self-transformation begin the very moment we see our inattentiveness and carelessness toward ourselves and what we are doing. If we can remain open to its significance without excusing or defending ourselves, it is this experience of impartial seeing that helps awaken us and bring us into a more honest relationship with ourselves and others" ~ Dennis Lewis

 My response,

                        A lot of the time awareness, attentiveness, care, concentration and the knowledge, transformation, awakening and the self realization that comes with it is purely determined by the intensity, drive, faith, courage, Love and the determination of the intelligence behind it all. I think there is a strong tendency for many eager people these days to pursue such things by the means of the mind, the senses and to some extent the heart alone but it would really help if people could go beyond these sensual things and mundane experiences and enter into the realms of Spirituality and come to know that they will always have a Soul and a Spirit and its powerful intelligence that pervades the rest of their being. Its ever evolving eternal existence will always remain awake in them.. although they might be unaware, asleep or half awake to the reality of the True Self that defines them, their identity and everything else they have always been, are and continue to be. People often seem to be asleep, blind, half awake or kind of dead. That's why they say when a wise man talks to some one he listens to their words but is ever attentive to the Soul that speaks from the heart and shines through the very depths of another's eyes. The goal through life should always be, to awaken to these things, then stay meditated, rooted and poised, aware and alive in them and strengthen the quality and the intensity of such things as drive(of the Human Will), Faith, Courage, Love and the Determination of the intelligence of the Soul and its Spirit. The imperishable is what you always are that is your true essence, it longs to grow and get better through the beautiful and colorful experiences of Life. And yes, nothing, no creature, no place, no object and no one in this world is void of a Soul, a Spirit and these beautiful energies that we're all so easily inclined to be blind to. It takes a little effort and a little help to sow the seeds of intelligence and awaken all Souls; it's only a question of time, the moment when everything falls into its rightful place. Thank you Dennis, for some really beautiful, helpful, encouraging and eye opening posts."

Wishing you All Love, Light and the very best of blessings this day.
Remember you are LOVE, your Life is but an expression of its WILL.

Best Regards,

Happy Thanksgiving :)

If you ever feel as if any part or anything in your life isn't quiet "enough", try practicing an attitude of thankfulness and you will soon begin to realize how good you have it after all. Gratitude is never so important as during those times when everything appears to be lost. Life gets so much better and easier when you adopt a gratitude attitude. Being thankful is what you need to be when you travel on that long but hopeful road to your destiny. we must not forget to thank Him for the lessons we have learned through our difficult times.

"We tend to take all the gifts and pleasures and happiness and the joy without saying much to God. We take our health and strength, our food and clothing and our loved ones, all for granted; but the moment anything goes wrong we start grumbling and complaining and we say 'Why should God do this to me, why should this happen to me?'
How slow we are to thank and swift to grumble."
~Martyn Lloyd-Jones

"True thanksgiving means that we need to thank God for what He has done for us,
and not to tell Him what we have done for Him."

~Shakespeare

"He who remembers the benefits of his parents is too much occupied with his recollections to remember their faults."
~BƩranger

 "We never approach God without cause for gratitude.
Thankfulness, a duty and delight greatly prominent in the Bible, is the declarative mood of gratitude - a bright fire in the world's frigid zone,  the memory and homage of the heart,
a master force in soul-building, the greatest tonic faith has. Be ye thankful."
~Robert G. Lee

"I hate ingratitude more in man than lying, vainness, drunkenness or any taint of vice,
whose strong corruption inhibits our frail blood."
~Shakespeare

"Pride slays thanksgiving, but a humble mind is the soil of which thanks naturally grow.
A proud man is seldom a grateful man,

“A thanksgiving-day hath a double precedency of a fast-day.
On a fast-day we eye God’s anger; on a thanksgiving-day we look to God’s favor.
In the former we specially mind our corruptions; in the latter, God’s compassions;
therefore a fast-day calls for sorrow, a thanksgiving-day for joy.
But the Lord’s day is the highest thanksgiving day.”

The Unity of Love: We Stand as One, When We Stand in Love

“Be ever faithful to that which exists nowhere but in yourself, and thus make the self in all of us indispensable” ~ Jai Krishna Ponnappan

Everything you want is out there waiting for you. Everything you want also wants you. But only the deepest of passions can know the glory of Love.

Torn by dust and darkness
I see this Light
Between blades of hate
And the lures of lust
I felt its strength
Raise a storm within my Heart
Between blades of hate and endless storms
I began to Live
When I found this Love

Our differences can never define us
They make us whole
They bless us with this Unity
When we stand as one
They bless us with this Unity
When we stand in Love

Entwined together in a moment
A rising Spirit towers through and above
Entwined by a breath of Love
Our Souls cry out in Joy
A strange Truth Speaks
To weary and worn but familiar Souls
Passing seamless and endless
Shattering through the veil that covers our Hearts
We feel its message
Light the lamp of Love

In Love the worst of misfortunes
Is worth the sweetest of treasures
To Love this way is to Live in Eternal Bliss
In Love the worst of pains
Is worth the blessings of birth…..a life renewed…..a Soul reborn
We become this treasure….. When we become this Love

 Wishing Heartfelt Love & Blessings to You All
